Jelly Roll is adding “actor” to his resume.

The country music star has a new guest role on CBS’ popular series Fire Country.

The role is an easy fit for Jelly Roll. His character, Noah, is a healthcare worker and ex-convict hoping to remake his life.

In a preview of the episode, which will premiere April 11, Paramount, CBS’ parent company revealed that Noah lost his mother while serving time in prison and now works with other patients like her and their loved ones who are struggling to say goodbye.

Fire Country marks Jelly Roll’s first scripted role − he previously appeared as himself in a cameo for Paramount+’s Tulsa King.

Fire Country airs on CBS on Fridays at 9 p.m. ET.
